These covers plate are designed to fill the cutout space left in a slide after a red dot optic is removed. Mounting screws included.
SELECTING A COVER PLATE- To choose a cover plate select your model optic, pistol, and cover plate style from the pull-down lists.
ADDITIONAL INFO REQUIRED- Optic cutouts can vary. Due to the differences in optic cutouts, please note the following information on the order to ensure a proper fitting cover plate is provided. Note box located at the bottom of the shopping cart page.
Cutout depth? (default thickness fits most)
Is the cutout curvedto match optic profile? (default is curved when applicable)
Any alignment postspresent? If so, how many and location? (no post holes by default)
MATERIAL/COLOR - The cover plates are milled from black Delrin Acetal Resin (acetal homopolymer). By default they will be black.
SCREWS/MOUNTING- Screws included are the same thread pattern as originally included with the optic, not necessarily the same as some companies mill slides for. If any doubt, contact me to discuss. Original screw sizes are listed below.
*Although machined to tight tolerances, minor fitting may be required in rare instances. Feel free to contact us prior to attempting any modification to your slide or cover plate.
