This is for the cutting of a new Glock or Sig Sauer style rear dovetail into your slide. This is commonly used to relocate the dovetail to the front of the optic on pistols such as Glock, HK, M&P, and Sig slides that require removal of the factory dovetail to mount a red dot optic.
