On certain slides variations there are deep cavities in the bottom of the slide. These cavities become exposed or create thin spots that hinder optic screw locations. To solve this, a custom adapter plate is created...similar to how a MOS system works. Adapter plates are also required to mounted certain optics on slim slide models.
Depending on the particular optic used and slide model, cowitness may still be achievable, but not always. Check with me for verification.
Standard red dot cutout service must still be purchased in addition to the adapter plate.
